After hearing your vision for your gown, you will try on sample gowns to get a better idea of what your gown will look like. When you are absolutely happy with the design and chosen materials, a quotation will be emailed to you.
Depending on the chosen fabric & details:
Wedding gowns: From R10 000 / R14 000 / R18 000 / R22 000 and up.
Evening gown: From R6000 / R7500 / R9000 and up.
Buy existing one of a kind gowns
Cindy stocks a small collection one of a kind gowns and made in specific sizes.
Minor adjustments can be accommodated and you will be quoted accordingly.
From R2500/ R3500/ R5 000 / R7000 and up.
Hire an existing gown
A small collection of sample gowns can be hired. Minor adjustments can be accommodated and you will be quoted accordingly.
Wedding gowns: R3000/ R4 500 and up.
Evening gown: R1200 / R1800 / R2500 and up.

How long in advance must I come in to discuss my dress?
As soon as possible as we work on a first come first serve basis.
How long does it take to make a gown?
It depends on you and your availability for consultation, fittings and collection. The time it takes to make up your order may depend on your existing body-shape, your intention to maintain that shape or to drastically exercise/ diet. To have a gown made to your measurements, call us at least 4-6 months before the event to secure your space in production.
Can I bring my best friend / fiancé / mother / bridesmaids?
Cindy prefers for the bride to come alone to the initial design consultation. She can get a clearer idea of exactly what you would like if she is dealing purely with your own wishes. If you do wish to bring your Mother or one friend, please give them some advance warning of your ideas and let them view Cindy’s work on the website. If your Mother envisaged you in virgin white and your dream dress is red, complications can arise. You are welcome to bring additional people to later fittings. The studio is not child friendly as all the delicate fabrics and designer gowns are on display.
Can I order a gown if I’m not in Cape Town or only arrive two weeks before my wedding?
Yes. Couture gowns made to your measurements, you would have to come in for fittings, 1 to 2 weeks before your big day. The amount of beading and handwork will also have an influence on the time frame.
Can you make me a dress that I can hire?
Depending on the style and your body shape. You will have to come and see us. We have selected sample garments for hire that can be slightly customised for you.
Can I receive a catalogue?
We don’t have a catalogue. Use this website for reference to our style of design.
How can I clean my gown?
We recommend you calling Parthenon Drycleaners in Rondebosch, Cape Town at Tel: 021 689 8313 for proper gown cleaning and preservation. Or you can call a bridal boutique in your town to get a referral.

Pricing
Prices displayed on the Cindy Bam website are quoted in ZAR – South African Rand. We reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time. While we make all reasonable efforts to provide accurate prices on our website, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the merchandise you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

However, once a product has left our premises for shipping, the purchase cannot be cancelled or modified. Alterations
Full-priced Cindy Bam products purchased may be brought, along with the original sales receipt, to our studio and alterations requested will be quoted for accordingly.
